Scrap Happy

Today we experienced a patchwork of events. We cut squares, bought patterns and ribbons, organized photo albums, ate tons of popcorn and candy, practiced our tap dancing skills, challenged each other's flexibility, and realized we did not have all the necessary materials to fully experience the joy of Lauren's magnificent high-tech sewing machine, YET. Thus, no actual sewing today, but the joy of Craftiwoo is with us nonetheless.

For those of you who may be wondering what I (Mother Earth) am doing with all that measuring, I am attempting to make a pillow case. Square Deal has some fantastic fabric she picked out to make a few of her own, and I thought I'd do a demo for her with some rad "happy housewife" fabric I just happened to have lying around.

I stupidly cut it wrong, though. It will be a very narrow pillowcase, but it will serve it's demo-ing purpose anyway. Look for the final pillowcases in the future!
